The Spider represents the first layer of Self. Deha, the physical body & the realm of the five senses. The spider is a weaver of the great Web - the mysterious web that connects us all - vibrating, humming and singing as we weave, pluck, strum, and traverse its sticky labyrinth. It walks mindfully and gracefully, able to avoid becoming stuck and ensnared in the net that most other beings become tangled and trapped within. The spider is a master of its senses. Having sharpened them so keenly, it intuitively knows exactly what brushes its musical strands. It understands patience, but is ready to strike when the time is right.
It is a master of the physical, adapting to its environment and expanding its potential by building its own structure within it to support its desire and vision.
The spider understands work, but also play, willing to try new designs in its web-work to observe how it changes the game.
It is willing to let go of all it has created, to move on and start fresh. Knowing that it is the experience gained in the hunt that counts, and that it will carry forth into the next arena.
